Taide on minulle väylä tutkia ykseyden kokemusta, jossa ihminen ei ole erillinen luonnosta, vaan osa kokonaisuutta. Teoksissani negatiivinen tila ja rikotut muodot viittaavat muutokseen, joka syntyy tyhjyydestä ja jatkuvasta liikkeestä. Luonnosmaisuus on keskeinen osa työskentelyäni. Se kuvastaa keskeneräisyyttä, kun kokonaiskuvasta voi nähdä vain karkean luonnosvedoksen. Kuvaan usein naisia sekä pyhän feminiinisyyden ja luojahahmon eri muotoja luontoäidin ideaalina. Kehollisuuden ja luonnon välistä suhdetta tutkimalla kysyn jatkuvasti, miten luonto asuu ihmisruumiissa, liikkeessä ja kokemuksessa.
My practice explores the shifting boundaries between the human and the natural, and the possibility of experiencing them as a unified whole. In my work, negative space and fragmented forms evoke processes of transformation, suggesting emergence from emptiness and a state of continuous becoming. The sketch-like quality reflects the impossibility of perceiving the whole; what we encounter is only a fragment, an outline of something larger and perpetually unfolding. I often depict women, exploring different manifestations of the sacred feminine and the creator figure as an embodiment of the ideal of Mother Nature. Through the relationship between the body and the natural world, I continually examine how nature inhabits the human body.
